If you believe that you are made in the image of God, then understand this: you are not just a follower, you are a creator.
And if God is the Creator, then His image in you means that you too were born with the power to imagine, design, and bring new things to life.

But today, I see something troubling.

Most people are not living their lives.
They are living someone else’s idea of success, copying styles, mimicking businesses, chasing attention, and competing in a game they never chose.

🧩 The Copy-Paste Life

I’ve watched people buy clothes, cars, or even houses  not because they need them, but because someone else has them.
Not because it reflects who they are but because they want to outshine the neighbor.

And this mindset doesn’t stop with personal choices.
It’s everywhere in business.

People don’t ask:

“What is mine to bring into this world?”
They ask:
“What is trending that I can copy?”

📌 But copying is not creating.
📌 Competing is not contributing.

🚫 The Curse of Competition

The spirit of competition, when unhealthy, is dangerous.
I’ve seen people lose their peace over a neighbor’s progress.
Some become envious, bitter, or even aggressive thinking that one person’s rise means their fall.

Others open businesses just to “beat” someone not to serve, not to innovate, not to solve anything.

And what happens?
The business collapses.
The relationships break.
The soul grows bitter.

✨ You Were Born to Create

You don’t need to compete when you create.
The world is wide enough for all of us because no one else can bring your vision, your story, your style, your voice.

  • Start the business they never thought of.
  • Write the story only you can write.
  • Sing the song no one else can hear but you.

Creation frees you. Competition traps you.
You were not made to fight for someone else's spot, you were made to create your own path.

🌱 Originality Is Your Superpower

There’s enough sunlight for every flower.
There’s enough space in the sky for every star.
There’s enough oxygen for every dream.

So ask yourself:

  • Am I building from vision or from envy?
  • Am I expressing myself or copying someone else’s formula?
  • Am I trusting that my portion is mine, or am I competing to take someone else’s?

🎯 Final Thought: Create, Don’t Compete

My friend, if you’ve ever felt behind because others seem ahead — don’t compete.

Create.

If you feel pressure to prove your worth by being better than someone — don’t compete.

Create.

Let your life be an original, not a replica. Let your work be a reflection of purpose, not a reaction to pressure.
